I think they said the live shows weren't necessarily going to follow on from the TV episodes.
Ford was quoted as saying something like it's too much to expect of the audience - which I take as suggesting that strict logical continuity for the benefit of a few thousand theatre viewers can't dictate a less than perfect ending for millions of TV viewers.
The write-up for the last two episodes is as follows:
5 - 'Hitched'
Love is in the air as the gang rally together to create an unforgettable wedding day for one of the pals.
6 - 'Over The Hill'
It's time for Jack and Victor to take on climbing Ben Lomond, as they reflect the marching of time, whilst Isa is trying to curb her addiction to helping animal charities, which has left her financially crippled.
Any ideas who might be getting married, anybody?! It only says 'one' of the pals, so I assume that one of the new couple will be a new arrival and not a regular.
The animal charities thing seems a strange new storyline to introduce for the last episode, so I presume it must be the excuse for something dramatic happening to Isa. I'm guessing that a lot of the last show is going to be Jack and Victor looking back over many of their previous capers, but the mountain must be relevant. Will they slip and fall, or make a pact and jump off the top together? Maybe some poignant memories of Jean and Betty too? Maybe they won't die, but I think they might well do so, for a sense of finality.
