Has anyone been watching it? Do you think some of the children are rude 🙈🙈

I don't remember my school having that much pebble dash but it does look familiar.

And small! Such a cliche but the hall looks so much smaller than I remember it.

I have enjoyed the show.

Think there are some horrible things on this thread- was there really a need to take a photo of the girl you dislike? And for someone else to say she reminds them of a bully? She’s still a child- I would hate for her (or her family!) to read that.

Kids of that age might struggle to fully immerse themselves in the experience- but I liked watching them try!

I really enjoyed this show and thought the kids and teachers were lovely. They are not actors and couldn't have pretended to really be in a school between 1900's to the 1970's as they would have actually had to hit children to make it realistic. I remember teachers bullying kids in the 1970's and my mum's memories from the 50's are even worse.
And yes some of the comments at the start of this thread singling out one girl because she "looks like a bully" are just awful.

I’ve found the show delightful. The way the children have got stuck into every task, responded to every challenge, been willing to risk looking silly (and eaten every revolting food) does them credit. I’ve loved the vignettes of them playing with each decade’s most popular toys. Equally it’s fascinating to see the teachers’ reactions to the various teaching styles over the years. You get the sense they love what they do. All credit to the production team too. I’ll be sorry to see it end.

Love the show. I think the children are very engaged and very socially aware.

Also I fancy the history teacher.

I really enjoyed it. I left school in the 90’s it was quite funny to see their reaction to dial up and how us in the 90’s would have thought this was so wonderful. I don’t remember feeling like that because I suppose the technology appearing didn’t just happen overnight in the way it did for them it felt more gradual.
I am 40 next week and it was a shock to the system seeing my childhood treated as history Grin dd is really into 90’s music and declared she loves the 90’s and the realisation that this was like me loving the 60’s as a young teen. Shock

I liked this, interesting to see what went on in the past, plenty of memories for those of us old enough to remember! I didn't realise every school was given a BBC Micro computer. I remember our school got one and it lived in the head's office, no pupil ever used it!

Anyone notice that Jamie (handsome dark-haired lad) was also in Baby Ballroom a couple of years ago?
