I had recorded this and watched it tonight. I agree, there is no morality there at all is there? It is all about the money, that's what motivates their guidelines for moderators. The rules are weird, anything showing a woman's bare breasts is automatically deleted (what is obscene about a female torso??) but the most horrific violence just gets a warning guideline added, and remains up. Even people being killed, I think. That poor tiny boy being hit by his stepfather!

Facebook seem to have no conscience and morals. So glad I've never had an account.

Didn't see the programme but as a lot of it was based around the dublin office there was a lot in the irish news about it and politicians discussing it. The main question continually asked is why have governments stepped back and let a multi national company get to decide what is morally and ethically ok to go online? Pemba your example highlights the obsurdity of it there is no rhyme or reason to it. The conclusion over here seems to be the likes of fb youtube etc are incapable of policing themselves and all jurisdictions have allowed it to happen and need to step up now and create proper regulations like exist for other mediums such as film because the companies are not capable of or should be regulating themselves

I'd agree with that, they should be regulated in a similar way to TV. No good leaving it up to them, it seems.

I'm going to watch it later online.
