Did anyone watch this last night? I wasn't living in Northern Ireland at that time, I was in my finals at uni, and the documentary came as a bit of a shock to me.

I thought it was excellently and respectfully handled. Very little to criticise about it. Such a terrible series of events over a month.

For context:

Yes. Really fascinating but hard going. Very well made

I did, and it chilled my blood, just as it did when I saw it on the news when it happened.
An ex of mine was friendly with one of the soldiers murdered, and we were together when seeing the news on television, but he didn’t know then, that it was someone he knew.
Religion has produced beautiful music, art and architecture, but it’s also produced hate, bigotry and death.

Good documentary. I remember seeing this on the news when I was a kid but never really understood how the three incidents were related at the time.

My close relative was a photojournalist at the funeral when the two SAS men were executed. He doesn't like to talk about it.

And I agree, I never understood the connection between the three incidents. I was in serious study mode at that time.

I have just watched it and it’s very harrowing. I have just been to Belfast and it’s vastly different from what it was 30 years ago.

I hope the Good Friday Agreement would not be ripped by Brexit.
