its a very clever film - wish I could be that clever.

expatinscotland · 09/04/2007 21:45

Pruni probably finds David Tennant attractive, too.

saadia · 09/04/2007 21:45

db loved it so am giving it a go but looks like hard work.

expatinscotland · 09/04/2007 21:46

It's a mind f*ck disguised as a 'clever' film.

nallydoolally · 09/04/2007 21:47

I looooooved Being John Malkovitch too. I loooooove John Malkovitch though

expatinscotland · 09/04/2007 21:48

I do find John Malkovich incredibly sexy, though.

I tried to watch Nodding Hell several times, actually.

Never got through it, even with the help of alcohol.

Pitiful.

What a waste of 2 hours. Kate Winslet = annoying, Kate Winslet's character = annoying. Agree with expat - It's a mind f*ck disguised as a 'clever' film.

pointydog · 09/04/2007 23:58

started watching this half way through. That didn't help. Very messy.

depressed the heck out of me. Didn't liek it

custy · 10/04/2007 00:02

i'd rather get battered to death with the soggy end of Al Gores left arm

SparklyGothKat · 10/04/2007 00:03

I love it, have seen it a few times now. I also like the butterfly affect.

. no, David Lynch's films are mind fucks desiguised as clever films. eternal spotless sunshine is a good film, and I usually hate love films. In fact I saw it more as a film about psychology than about love.

Y0rkshirelass · 10/04/2007 10:49

Well I quite liked it. Agree Kate Winslet's character was annoying and I thought that their love affair wasn't entirely convincing but it was a very clever film.
DP, bless him, was completely bemused by it and was still asking questions this morning!
