Welcome Madam. Yes, 6tl stands for 6th Time Lucky - she had 5 bit parts before she got the full time role.

Eeeeeesh needs to bugger off now. It is dull. I think she has run her course as a character. She was a low-rent version of Michelle anyway, so now Bren has gone there is nothing else to have her do.

cinnamongreyhound · 21/09/2017 21:33

I reckon they've forgotten about the with marney, although they have remembered the rob left her in the pushchair in the park.

Maybe that guy saying no with make Ayesha think twice about being such a pta!

toldmywrath · 21/09/2017 23:08

This isn't over yet they'll drag it out until 6tl puts onGrin her dressing gown proper LOL ing at that blame

toldmywrath · 21/09/2017 23:09

toldmywrath · 21/09/2017 23:12

The lack of NHS dentists is a real problem, unfortunately.

The emergency dental hospital moves around in our area. So one day it's in the west, another the east etc. You have to ring up and pour your heart out just to get an appointment. But they won't treat you, they examine your teeth and will prescribe antibiotics if needed and then tell you to see a dentist...

toldmywrath · 22/09/2017 15:14

What I've just said seems nonsense, about the emergency dentist. Umm, just ignore me for now. I'm going to ask DH and DD their experiences.

toldmywrath · 22/09/2017 15:16

Emma was lucky. I'd have sacked her from her fme role and reported her to Mrs Tembe for her lying.

I don't like Emma.Grin

blamethecat · 22/09/2017 16:37

Is it dental week in Letherbridge ?

toldmywrath · 22/09/2017 17:46

There's definitely a dental thing going on. It's like a social commentary on the state of the NHS.

Doctors is completely unrealistic in terms of a general practice, so I don't suppose they could criticise GP's surgeries.
Can you imagine what the story line would look like? Heavens, patient Smith has only been able to see the Dr immediately today at his home, place of work and while visiting the dressing gown shop.

toldmywrath · 22/09/2017 17:48

Oh and my DH says that emergency dentist gave him a temporary filling on a tooth that needed extraction. They won't extract or do permanent work. Plus once his local anaesthetic wore off, the intense pain returned!

Raahh · 22/09/2017 18:01

I had emergency treatment at the dentist last week, for my gums. They basically swished my mouth with corsydyl and gave me a prescription for antibiotics.

My dentist retired, and moved her patients to the same practice the rest of my family are at. But I haven't been for years for a while, so will have to join the waiting list.

I get a bit nervous at the dentist. Ironically, it's the ad's and anti anxiety meds I am on that are wrecking my gums. ( Chronic dry mouth).

blamethecat · 22/09/2017 20:09

I had the dentist this week, he has clearly been on some sort of course as he was all 'good news your teeth are strong and healthy and we want to help keep them like that' Hmm went my face. Anyway I need to see the hygienist and the first appointment available is April !

toldmywrath · 22/09/2017 21:29

I go to the hygienist every 12 weeks and get a dental check up twice a year. I've got terribly receding gums, otherwise the teeth aren't too bad.
One memorable year, I visited the dentist 13 times plus had deep root planing at Guy's dental hospital (4 visits)
Needless to say, I've completely lost my fear of the dentist. I used to be a right bag of nerves. I do get scared at my GP's though. I go once per year for prescription review and blood tests.

toldmywrath · 22/09/2017 21:33

Raahh I have meds that give me dry mouth. It's horrible, I keep water next to me at bedtime. I use a mouthspray that encourages saliva, plus special toothpaste and mouthwash. On some occasions I've been known to wipe Vaseline over the roof of my mouth in desperation. It's a horrible thing, but sound a bit pathetic when I say it.

toldmywrath · 22/09/2017 21:35

Blame, April is the first appointment! Blimey, you ought to book the follow up one immediately.

blamethecat · 22/09/2017 22:06

It's only for a polish and scale. My old dentist used to do it himself and I'm sure that it's included in the cost of the appointment(NHS) Hmm but I have to pay for the hygienist.

redshoeblueshoe · 23/09/2017 09:33

Plenty of NHS dentists round here, I think mine is open 7 days a week. At least we didn't have to suffer Eeeeeeeeeeesh.

cinnamongreyhound · 23/09/2017 19:03
