Anyone watching?
What do you think so far? I think she's hellaguilty.

Excitedforxmas · 22/06/2017 22:36

I thought the opposite! I'd be rubbish on jury duty

MozzchopsThirty · 22/06/2017 22:45

I wasn't sure she was guilty

But I do believe people can tell themselves a story that they end up believing

PossumInAPearTree · 22/06/2017 22:48

I thought guilty.

The neighbour said he heard the gunshots and a short time later she came out the house.

ChesterFuckingDraws · 22/06/2017 22:53

Guilty as charged. She was a very odd, calculating person and her answers were so measured. She didn't like it one bit when he told her her birth mum believed she was guilty.

FeralBeryl · 22/06/2017 22:56

I think she got her 'friend' David to do it. I would have liked Piers to have tracked him down.
The gunshot residue was odd but she had worked as a nurse and may have been forensically aware?

David as in prison I think wasn't he? I actually thought some of the "new" evidence was rather poor- the "type of 911 call" she made.dont think that would stand up in the uk.

But for me the main evidence was the gun in her car, and the fact she said she'd felt his pulse twice and there was no evidence she had. Also the "ransacking" which was just actually opening draws and not stealing anything, all point to her being guilty as charged.

FeralBeryl · 22/06/2017 23:30

Ah missed the bit about him being in prison thanks.
Also the fact that the gun was upstairs in a drawer Hmm but the assailant snuck in, got upstairs, found said gun and popped back down and shot him.

I agree that the 911 call wasn't that odd, people say all kinds of shit when panicked.

Did they polygraph her? DD decided to fecking wake up so I was in and out sorting her...

Guilty as hell imo, she's a psychopath

userblahblahwhatever · 23/06/2017 21:11

I've actually watched this programme twice to see if I could pick up on anything else. On the one hand I think yes she's guilty and why did it take so long to convict her?

On the other hand, the evidence was only circumstantial and there was no gunshot residue was found on her.

I think she's guilty but a tiny part of me thinks yes she's an absolute fruit loop and very odd, but does that make someone a murderer?

Very sad at the end. Her natural reaction to what PIERS said mirrored her reaction to a lot of the other questions.

We also never found out if the police pursued other lines of enquiry.

Inkanta · 30/06/2017 20:10

My feeling was that she was not guilty. She spoke convincingly and the circumstantial evidence didn't seem enough to convict her. Not keen on the detective. She seemed genuinely upset that her mother thought she'd done it and had stated so to Piers. Maybe I'm completely gullible but I wasn't convinced she had done it.

Lottie991 · 30/06/2017 20:16

One thing I did think though was that if she was so aware of forensics and managed to have no traces of DNA or gunshot residue left on her, Why didn't she dispose of the gun? Why would she have left it in her car?

pineappleeyes · 30/06/2017 21:08

Opening drawers and not stealing anything is quite common. Many people don't have anything of value in their drawers. Intruders carry out an untidy search and leave with nothing sometimes. So the ransacked home with nothing stolen doesnt help in proving her guilt....imo

I was convinced enough to find her guilty. Too much doubt. So I'd go not guilty.

This week's was a different story. I found her (can't remember her name) cold, calculated, detached and emotionless. I found her unconvincing when she was speaking about taking responsibility for what she'd done. Her sly smile pissed me off too.

The victims parents broke my heart. They were so undetstandably bitter, especially his dad.

pineappleeyes · 30/06/2017 21:09

Meant i wasnt * convinced enough to find her guilty.

cushioncovers · 01/07/2017 11:47

Just watched the latest one with amber and her brother Kyle who helped kill Seath Sad that poor boy.

Inkanta · 01/07/2017 13:12

Yes the 2nd episode was something else. Those poor parents having to live with what happened to their son.

I agree - she was very cold and calculated and definitely participated in his death. The killer boyfriend was a bit of a psycho I think.

cushioncovers · 14/07/2017 15:51

Just watching ep 4 now, don't know what to think.

traderbiff · 14/07/2017 15:53

killer woman near piers morgan? give her a gun

cushioncovers · 14/07/2017 16:08
Grin

I thought he was quite harsh on this women. I think as a young impressionable women who had a rough upbringing and got caught up with a man like Tracy it was quite possible for her to end up doing what she did. Peer pressure, obsession, adoration, fear, lack of boundaries etc all play a part imo

RockyBird · 14/07/2017 16:13

He's a prick but he can be as harsh as he likes to these murderering scum.

pineappleeyes · 14/07/2017 19:38

He was harsh on this one. She was hard to read. She kept pausing and sighing like she was controlling anxiety maybe.
She's the only one so far though who I think was genuinely remorseful.

cushioncovers · 14/07/2017 19:45

Yeah he was harder on this one than previous ones. She was really hard to read.

Inkanta · 15/07/2017 20:03

I found myself believing she was under the influence of Tracy and his powerful projections that manipulated her into killing this woman. Glad he went down for a longer time. That seemed fair to me.

cushioncovers · 15/07/2017 20:24

I agree ink

Christmastree43 · 17/07/2017 22:16

When Piers kept going back to the fact that she proposed killing the woman... I think it's possible that a yoong, impressionable girl from a difficult background could say 'do you want me to kill her?' because she thinks it's what he wants... because he's hinted and hinted about how she's made his life hell etc. I feel like maybe that's something that Piers can't understand as a man who doesn't understand how insidious emotional abuse or manipulation can be. She didn't know that he'd spent years in jail for beating the murder victim. If it wasn't for Tracy, of course she would never have killed the woman - what motive would she have had? She was also very remorseful unlike the others.

I do obviously agree that as she pulled the trigger she obviously must face punishment. But as others have said I'm glad it was recognised that he was the catalyst. I think she was right to say that he should be in jail for longer because he is more likely to violently offend again. I think Piers was too black and white with her, where he's been more sympathetic with others (the blonde gold digger lady in particular I thought)

Christmastree43 · 17/07/2017 22:17

Also am shocked at the long sentences without parole that they get in the series compared to what's given out in the U.K. - no idea which country has it right but they get long sentences there Shock
