hello..bare with me im new to this, but love all your comments regarding the crap that Five Live puts on the box. really disgusted with the way the parents were horrible about their kids in front of them!

I watched a few minutes of it, but Anna Pasternak made me feel queasy (that pink jacket! what was she thinking!) so I turned it off. Couldn't figure out who the prog was aimed at apart from the happily childfree who wanted to have their prejudices confirmed.

I said it on an earlier thread that got deleted? (the life 5 thing).... I think the real issues here are how WE interact our children into our lives. Do we MAKE them conform to us (no matter what) or do WE conform to THEM (no matter what) or somewhere in between????

I?ve always thought ? we have choices ? we have sex ? sex = high probability of pregnancy. ? We know this and know the possible outcomes.

Pregnancy= high probability of baring a live living child ? we take the decision of continuing with the pregnancy.

Birth ? again the choice is presented to us ? live living child or not ? living ? keep or adopt - again, our choice (may not be ideal circumstances, but still our choice).
Not living ? as so may of us here already know ? not a choice any would like?

Think those involved with IVF or others such as Maudes mummy/ bubble99 etc.. who have loved and lost....

But the ultimate has to be that WE as would be/Actual MOTHERS made that choice ? never the baby??a baby should never be the end of OUR LIVES ? but the beginning?surly ? end of!!!
this path we chose and we should live by it?.end of!!
