I think it would have been stupid to have the baby as being Kush's - two baby storylines for him in close succession was already pushing it.

I hate that Phil is the father. There's too many Mitchell's as it is, Phil is an odious bigot, and Denise getting involved with them doesn't feel right. Poor Diane Parish deserves a better story.
