Agree it's all very odd at the minute, bins and disabled parking are they trying some odd political stuff maybe or will there be some medical emergency for Donna which will be mucked up by no blue badge? Or maybe Kim is visiting someone in secret and the parking ticket could have revealed it? The whole thing with Claudette and the clothes was so weak although always good to see gbp!

And the whole moving thing is fantasy! Tina's current landlord will just hand the house over to Stacey and Martin no questions asked and the landlord of their current flat will just waive any notice of them leaving and be happy for them. Martin even said that stace deserves the family home of her dreams after the year she's had, which I agree with, but being deserving doesn't pay the rent does it? I really hope this is a new staff and/or pre Christmas lull and they've something big coming up as otherwise it's just zzzzzz .......

Mik said something about gone to visit mum for weekend. Could be maternity cover? Mum will fall or heart attack Linda and Ollie stay there for 6m!

Funny how Martin Stacey afford rent flat on 2x market wage. Lee and Whitney on market wage and pub coulnt possible afford it!

Yes, they cant be a skint as they say - martin is working, stacey was in the salon and getting child benefits i assume. She told martin that Ryan was going to start paying maintence for Lily. Kyle and Belinda also work. It cant be easy, but they are in a better position than others ( like lee and whitters) they all must be entitled to other state benefits too?
Belinda had a rich hubby, she must entitled to some of that big house in essex! Or the hot tub at least. They need to sort it out!

I hope they don't recycle the Stacey/Max storyline. They need some original stories rather than delving into the past.

Lee is unemployed now that Buster has left so that puts him and Whitney well and truely out of the rental market.

Shirley and Tina seemed to be having some chemistry last night. Them two living together could be fun, aslong as they get rid of Silvia. Just get on with putting her in a care home where she'll get the professional help she needs.

Did anyone see the impressionist show later on to? The Natalie Cassidy impression was superb. The Danny Dyer impression sounded more like Joe Swash.

I've just flicked on Eastenders, not seen it for ages, I know shoot me. Dot is still working in the launderette! She's nearly 90, good on the woman.

They could have made blue badge last bit longer. No one pointed out its criminal offense to use someone else's badge, or how Donna could have had wait months for a new one after investigation of she was caught using it illegally.

I thought Shirley worked in the pub? She's one of the license holders.

Shirley covers the odd emergency but mostly rocks in and out as she feels. Not noticed her putting in a 40h shift. We already havw Mik Linda Whitney Jonny and Tracey working behind bar and sometimes babe and Lee

Yes Linda seems to have slipped off without explanation. The last we saw of her was in the market moaning about the bins. Is that her done for her maternity leave now?

They seem to going back to basics. Could be good, could get tedious. Character driven plots rather than shoe horning drama in and changing personalities to fit, would be a good move I think, but there's a fine balance. Too many bins, parking tickets and dry cleaning machines without any dramatic stuff will get boring quickly.

Pam was excellent tonight. It feels like she's been in it for years. Lots of GBP tonight. She's so cute! Laughed at Kim kicking her shoes off. Her and Vincent work well together. I like them as a little family now. Wasn't at all keen on Vincemt during the whole gangster/whatever it was, thing.

For the moment I'm enjoying the rest from murder, abduction and blackmail in favour of more mundane stuff like parking permits and bins. Sometimes too much drama makes the show less effective.

Any thoughts on the Kathy/Shirl/buster situatuon.?

I think Jane is the only one who knows Kathy was having an affair with Buster so I am assuming Shirley won't find out.
