I usually visit DS and Metro Soaps for my EE spoilers.

We have the following to look forward to:

  • 'whodunnit' when Babe finally gets what she deserves
  • Possible romances between Denise & Kush, Claudette & Patrick, Steven and Johnny
  • a 'difficult' storyline for Kim??
  • Kathy & Buster get found out?
  • Dean's trial
  • whatever it is that Ben & Jay are planning

I also suspect that before the new producer comes along that more chatacters will be leaving

i saw some pictures of cora with Denise and a benefits story line coming up.
why Robbie? there isnt much in walford for him anymore!

south, the story with Denise and her lack of funds will take a twist when she bumps into Cora at the food bank too. Just what we need, Cora back ( to live where i wonder?) i am guessing it will all turn into a kind of 'I Daniel Blake' couple of episodes, but not as well done.

There's a new family coming into the show this summer. The mum is played by an actress who was in it just last year when she played a similar character (Linzi's mum) Hmm:

Ahh what we need , another Faaaaahmilee who are going to come in, rough as a bear's arse , upset everyone ............then melow to be salt of the earth .
Like Corries anna, Gary, husband who I cannot remenber . They conned poor Joe and his OneMan kitchen business , he eventually went bankrupt. Now anna is everyone favourite cafe bod.
Same with Tina - first time we met her was being rude to Gail in the surgery.

Unless they have won the lottery, i do not know how they could afford a property there really. Linzi was the one who duped Jay and he is now on the sex offenders register. Her brothers threatened to kill him - so Jay will not be happy to see them around. They looked a bit like the Miller family that was in it years and years ago , the family with the work shy dad and Joe swash played Micky Miller ( i think it was micky?) although i might be wrong. anyway, another rough crowd, just what they need on the square ( not)

Yea! How stupid is it, that linzi's mum is now cast as another character?!

The family look like an attempt at the Miller's. God knows what they're trying to achieve. I bet we'll be learning A LOT about the benefits system and council housing, I bet you!

Also has anyone seen that Robbie is coming back? And Cora is back for an episode when she meets Denise at a food bank.

yes, the Taylors look a bit like the miller family. As someone said upthread here, whats the betting they start out a bit troubled then morph into really nice people or something like that. I cant imagine Jack will be pleased as his flats are aimed at the young professional types.

To go to the foodbank Denise has to go somewhere else first to get a token, they don't just give out food when you turn up. So, the housing office, CAB, church or job centre I think.

Totally agree it's stupid the shit actress is back so soon and from the looks of it playing a very similar character to Linzi's mum. I guess there's no other actresses out there aged around 40 who could play this new character Hmm

Yes we'll be hearing lots about benefits and council housing I'm sure, and I think we'll get hit over the head for months with the ishoo's about this new family being anti-social neighbours and the council not being able to do anything. Two of the kids have learning difficulties so I expect lots of scenes in which we see lots of shouting from the mum to teachers about how useless they are.

The family will be magically transformed by Christmas, thanks to the coming together of the community to help them.

It's implied in the trailer that Whitney and Mick finally sleep together.

And is that Bex whose pregnancy result is positive? Could be Alexandra...wasn't clear to me.

I hope they're written out too! Trailer is giving too much away so there's no element of suprise. And they got rid off Pam and les and got in another old couple just like them Hmm

I think the pregnancy test might be Lauren's? They show the condom being stabbed again 😂

I just watched this and wondering who was on the floor at the end of the trailer, looked like Dots kitchen table, but not her?
looks as if Steven gets wind of Josh and Lauren and lInda is back - I'm upset that Mick might succumb to Witney's dubious charms! Stacey having a go at the new woman - i knew they would be trouble.. it gave a a lot away, and Fi seems to be hanging around too (even a glimpse of the Mr big character from back in january) it might start to liven up a bit.
