Disclaimer You are about the enter a thread full of Eastenders spoilers - if you would prefer not to read spoilers please visit the spoiler-free thread here.

I usually visit DS and Metro Soaps for my EE spoilers.

We have the following to look forward to:

  • 'whodunnit' when Babe finally gets what she deserves
  • Possible romances between Denise & Kush, Claudette & Patrick, Steven and Johnny
  • a 'difficult' storyline for Kim??
  • Kathy & Buster get found out?
  • Dean's trial
  • whatever it is that Ben & Jay are planning

I also suspect that before the new producer comes along that more chatacters will be leaving

Didnt corrie do this once? My tv guide has lots of pics of Martian, stacy and max - my hunch is Martin is in the frame here! It doesnt give much away though to be fair.

HateSummer · 18/01/2017 14:02

It's a 35 person cast list for Monday, everyone except Jane, dot, Phil and Sharon and obviously no Linda either.

I don't watch coronation st or emmerdale, but I think emmerdale had a plane crash didn't they? I wonder what this disaster is supposed to achieve? 🤔

TheMockingbird · 18/01/2017 14:10

Yes, I remember something about Coronation St having a tram or train derail.
Well the week begins with Kush and Mart 'avin' a rahhh over the market. Walford Cahhhncil decide to relocate the market stalls, Carmel knew of the plans and Mart has a go at her. Kush defends her.

Now, I'm thinking train derailment will plow into market/launderette (but miraculously avoid the Vic, the Minute Mart and all other surroundings) and then Mart and Kush won't be moaning about relocation.

Is there anyone else leaving apart from Lee?
Hopefully we'll get a squashed Sausage

TheMockingbird · 18/01/2017 14:12

I've realised I've already put my theory up during my delusional insomnia Grin

The80sweregreat · 18/01/2017 15:13

Oh no, just as Stacey is settled and happy now, it might all be taken away from her!! as Max's face seems to loom large on the tv guide pics, whats the betting he tries to save martin or something and stacy and him have an affair ( again), not sure who else is leaving, I did hear Lee's name before Christmas, but nothing since.
Considering Roxie and Ronnie met their maker a few weeks ago, isn't this all a bit quick? they usually do things in feb for their anniversary episodes ( the live ones and so on) so you would think they would have left it till then.

LemonBreeland · 18/01/2017 16:30

I'm thinking a derailing underground train. I'm sure there was something a long time ago about that being a possibility. We have t hope whatever it is brings about the end of Lee. Rumours are going around that it includes Jay and Babe too, although I think Jay is just going to have more problems associated with him being, as EE say 'a nonce'.

They have managed to keep very quiet about it all.

dingdongdigeridoo · 18/01/2017 19:06

I actually like Stacey and Max together. They have great chemistry.

Some rumours are saying it's Babe and Jay who'll be going. Dunno where they got Jay from except the usual vague rumours that he has a big storyline coming up. Something like a train derailment would be pretty unrealistic but I guess that's how the show has been.

The square will be empty at this rate!

Kirriemuir · 18/01/2017 19:30

Lee doesn't leave until Easter I don't think.

NoisyBrain · 18/01/2017 21:05

Was I the only one yelling at the TV last night at Lee bringing home shop-bought coffee and croissants for breakfast?!

My rant went something like this: "AAARGH! YOU'VE GOT NO MONEY, YOU OWE YOUR DAD THOUSANDS AND YOU'VE JUST BLOWN ABOUT £8 ON TAKE AWAY BREAKFAST YOU UTTERLY CLUELESS TWAT!!!"

TheMockingbird · 18/01/2017 21:30

Oh my gawd, yes Noisy!
I did exactly the same! Grin And when he came back from work and had a beer in the Vic.

Mind you, I get pissed off when I see Martian/Stace moan about money and yet they are always in the Vic. On lunchtimes with Arfaaaah in the age-inappropriate pram or on the evenings when Lord knows who is looking after their brood (probably Bex, because, y'know she hasn't got homework to do, or friends to see, or be a teenager or anything)

SinisterBumFacedCat · 19/01/2017 08:47

I will be gutted if Jay dies, he is one of my favourites. When his dad died it was so sad, I always wanted a happy ending for Jay.
Good if Babe is killed off though.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 19/01/2017 08:58

I've just found the Facebook Eastenders spoilers page. It's worth it for the pics of the Ben Mitchell/Harry Reid superfan alone.

HateSummer · 19/01/2017 12:51

Omg I'd be really sad too if Jay died. They better not kill him off! He's grown up on screen, people won't like it!

I've read somewhere that Monday, Tuesday and Thursday will be a re-run of the same 24 hours, maybe from different perspectives? We'll be kept in suspense about something. I'm putting bets on Babe dying. Hopefully!

LemonBreeland · 19/01/2017 15:47

It looks like a bus crash in the market. Pictures available on the Sun website. That seems somewhat unrealistic to me, because there is no reason for a bus to go down that street.

The80sweregreat · 19/01/2017 17:14

You see a bus sometimes outside the square. Not that often though and not close to the market?
This new producer is intent on getting rid of people eh?

TheMockingbird · 19/01/2017 20:39

Maybe a bus driver goes into the Vic for breakfast before his shift, has one too many of Babe's special brews and drives like a maniac.

The80sweregreat · 19/01/2017 21:08

Mockingbird, that made me laugh so much!

Babes beer n sausage combo is lethal stuff.

HateSummer · 20/01/2017 10:21

I think there's a bus stop somewhere, but you don't normally see buses driving through, it's such a small narrow square it's amazing they have a market stall there.

I'd like to see some special effects. They haven't had a good explosion in years 😆

TheMockingbird · 21/01/2017 07:58

Let's hope Mick as paid the insurance in the Vic, you know there's a history of bad admin in the Square.

OhTinky · 21/01/2017 08:08

I can't work out if I'm looking forward to this or not... having flashbacks to an awful fairground collapse stunt they did about 10 years ago? Hope cgi has moved on since then!

Lyn29 · 23/01/2017 21:00

Please don't let jay die!!!

dingdongdigeridoo · 23/01/2017 21:05

Were Billy and Jay supposed to be on the bridge the bus crashed into? I hope it's not him too.

nancy75 · 23/01/2017 21:07

Isn't the bridge a railway/ tube bridge? Not for cars

HarryPottersMagicWand · 23/01/2017 21:11

It's definitely a train bridge, it showed the tube at the beginning of the episode.

So who's going to die then? Denise? She did say maybe Kim would forgive her if she actually died. Martin? Acting very unMartin like, him and Stacey never argue like that. Billy said he doesn't want to have a funeral for anyone else he knows! Jay will be fine, nowhere near it. Bex and Louise will be fine as it stopped before their seats upstairs. Denise was thrown but it didn't look bad so can't see it being her. If someone dies it will be someone from the market.

southeastdweller · 24/01/2017 07:46

Jay doesn't die as I've just read he's in a story next week, as are Tina and Sylvie. I'm now thinking Carmel dies as she's feeling a bit pointless at the moment. Can't see it being Denise as she was probably on the bus as a story device for her and Kim to make up later on.
