Well the Funeral was weird sam walking out for no reason phil walking out jack and ronnie sneering at Sam like they are parents of the year it was just odd oh and grant lurking in the bushes meh wasnt emosh at all.

I think Phil walked out because he was angry at Peggy for letting him suffer as a child and didn't feel he could stand up and say what a wonderful mother she was.

Yeah I think the suitcase brought it all back but still meh. Oh and yeah s putting on peggys perfume was creepy. Im hoping Phil gets a liver soon he is not looking well at all

he's hiding in the shadows - why?

Because most of the funeral was filmed in early May but Ross Kemp filmed his bits last week.

So he's standing around two months later than everyone else.

Is there any significance to the milkman?
Him saluting the Queen Vic sign and giving peggy a ride on the milkcart... were they call backs to something?

He has been the same milkman for years but i dont get it either

The bells could be heard in the square for ages so i reckon the church is just beyond the railway bridge the picture shrine annoyed me why was Linda standing for ages looking at them she had no idea who peggy was and Whitneys fake crying urgh Pats funeral was better

Yes he came at night though and didnt hide in a bush why was grant in a bush there was no explanation why grant didnt come was just a shrug of i dunno where grant is.

Didn't Pat's have a Peggy Added In too? She stared wistfully at Pat's window I think.

I expected Phil to meet grant at the grave and for them to both do the "goodbye mum".

That's why i love eastenders, any other show would have filmed at least one scene of Grant with Phil or sharon or any other regular cast member, even just sitting next to them at the church to establish things, but eastenders just has an instert scene of them coming out of a bush.

Yes I wanted grant at the end too that is what it should have been not the disjointed rubbish of bush grant and wandering phill

I don't understand why they couldn't have filmed that last bit last week when Ross kemp was avaliable.
Bush Grant wouldn't be so bad if they put the effort in at the end.

Unless the excuse is that Grant is no longer talking to anyone else, fallen out with the FAAAAMILY, taken a vow of silence and become one of those Bush hiding monks.

Bush hiding monk EE didnt really think any of it through did they . Steve Mcfaddens wife/partner had a baby maybe thats why phill just dissapeared. And bush grant just fitted in to filming

I was very surprised they didn't have Phil and Grant together at the end. Is that it for Grant then? A lot of build up for not a lot!
