I thought Louise was hiding under the desk. The big one that people always hide under when they shouldn't be in there. Didn't Ben tell her Phil would probably be at the Arches or the car lot? Not quite sure why she would've been hiding under the desk if she was expecting Phil to turn up there though. She was looking for him!

Shirley saying "my teeth are more senstive" made me laugh!

I guess Phil nearly killing Louise is a way for the writers to end the drunk Phil story and get him to finally seek help for his alcoholism and cirrhosis.

Mick not forgiving Nancy is out of character but maybe it's leading to her exit.

Agree Louise had plenty of time to get out after Phil smashed the windows, before he brought the roof crashing down.

The Mick and Nancy thing is badly done. Mick is not the kind of parent to turn against one of his kids.

And WHY did Louise go in there? Why didn't she just leave when she heard the first smash? It's not like Phil demolished the door first...

Everything feels rushed in EE like they don't have enough rehearsal time hence such terrible acting from Ben, Paul (who to be fair is always awful), Kathy and some others.

Agree it was just dull that Abi had supposly miscarried and was then back from hospital still on a bar stool chatting away to her nor quite mother in law....

I quite liked Denise Welch as the useless French teacher in Waterloo Road. Did someone say she's going to be Kyle's mum? So, some sort of stand-off between her and Jean more or less inevitable?
Am more surprised and disappointed to hear about the other DW coming back as Sam Mitchell. Combination of her and Peggy might mean I have to skip a few eps.

The play park can't be made over! Where will people sit when they're miserable? Those two crappy swings were a great backdrop.

I doubt Louise has been killed off. Her return was heavily publicised and I'm sure they want a new mouthy teenager on the square. They're a bit short at the moment.

vashta Louise lived back with Phil for a bit a few years ago and Ben used to bully her so they do know each other.

Ben was horrid to Louise, burning her with a hot spoon, I don't why she'd want to come back unless she's planning on getting her own and doing some Aunt Babe style meddling.

And also why doesn't Nancy point out the hypocrisy of Mick and his treatment of her versus everything Babe did to his family and he has no concerns about having her around his family

The writing of this Mick and Bancy story is awful. Why doesn't he blame Lee as well? I suspect the writers couldn't think of a decent exit story for her but at the last minute they become reconciled.

Drunk Phil is brilliant.

Yes Babe turned nasty to Abi quite quickly no doubt movng onto her next victim Kyle.

I missed the reason why Babe turned on Abby. Or is she just a psychopath?

Abi said something about she wouldn't have been in the mess she was in if it wasn't for Babe suggesting to her to say she was pregnant. Babe then said it was her choice and threatened to tell everyone that she was making the whole baby thing up.

Tbf Babe has no proof. Abi showed Ben a positive pregnancy test. No one apart from Ben would care and I think that would be a good thing for Abi so she can break up with her (gay) boyfriend and Ben can be left to continue his bad acting with Paul.

Abi made a comment to Babe about Babe's lack of relationship experience which is when Babe turned nasty on her.
