The nurse really pushing the breast feeding is taking me back to newborn DD and the pressure they put on you in hospital.

You can breastfeed after a break but ideally will have needed to express in the meantime.
There is a drug you can take to aid lactation but stress and illness can really affect the milk supply,

I know a lady who successfully breast fed and she wasn't even the birth mother! (Surrogate birth)

But I agree, Stacey's situation is bizarre and I don't think she could suddenly start breastfeeding out of the blue,
And that nurse is annoying me keeping on at her about it. There are other ways to bond with your baby besides breastfeeding.

Oh and Abi is so bloody annoying, I really hope she gets her comeuppance!
