Hi sleepingbags! I'm not sure if we should start a new thread or not but...

SPOILER ALERT

My initial thoughts are:

• Felt very similar in style to an old school mythology, which was great but also a bit lazy
• Mulder seemed very Mulder-like, Scully seemed very brittle at first but that would kind of make sense in context
• I didn't like them going back to the old credits, it was a bit too old-school for me
• M/S relationship was interesting and different but in a good way
• Scully has alien DNA!! Does that explain the immortality thing maybe??

I liked it was old school. too many shows adopt a new format it's harder to get into. we loved it the way it was.

I did expect scully to be warmer to mulder. they were together fir a long time yet she kind of daw him.as someone.to take care of befire she believed him nuts.which he is but not because there's something wrong with him

yes the DNA was an interesting twist I hope they explore ot more

Love Per Manum! The Gift is where we learn all about Mulder being ill isn't it? I remember it as kind of gross but probably important to understanding Mulder's character. Dunno. Happy with either of those, you choose. What time?
