I always felt that Doggett falls for her precisely because she's not available and he's not ready for a relationship yet. But in s9 he lets himself fall in love Reyes instead. I love the hotdogs and cat person / dog person scenes.

Yeah they were really sweet together with the cat and dog thing. it's obvious even more so with the hospital/model hospital episode. yet (on camera at least) he still seems.to hold back even though they'd be so good together
