I think they are sleeping together which is why she's querying their relationship and whether it's going in the direction she wants. Daniel represents stability and rationality, whereas her relationship with Mulder is unpredictable and can't really be explained. And she realises via her little chat with Buddha that it's Mulder she wants.

Which isn't so bad if they're already sleeping together though. It's less of an obvious snub! Maybe she leaves him a note..? So what's next anyway? Hollywood AD? I can never work out if I like that one! I definitely like bits of it but sometimes it's so self-indulgent on DD's part.

Oh yes! And the bath scene. There's definitely some good bits but the scene where Scully says Tea Leoni fancies Mulder makes me squirm! It's so self-congratulatory on DD's part that he has a pretty wife, and he also assumes viewers will know who she is and she's not that famous! But we can watch it though, it's mainly good
