I've watched them all but I don't want to go and chat on the other Lost thread in case I say something they haven't seen yet... but there is sooooooo much to talk about!!!!

Oh apparently that old epsiode where Eko/Echo (sp?) stared down the black stuff, if you freezed it you could see images from his life (some we hadn't seen yet). SO what the hell is it?

am hating kate even more this series, although i agree jack is bearable this time.

The noises sound like a machine of some sort so is it just part of the stuff to do with the hatch?

No idea about the black smoke - I said to dp that it's a bit like the things in the movie Ghost - like a judgement type thing for people who had done something really bad - dp says no though because if you aren't afraid of it, it goes away.

Smoke thing makes me think of something that forces you to face your fears and failings - something both Locke and Eko could do, but others had problems with. But when they got too freaked out they couldn't.

And the list thing (that Michael was given at end of last series) contained the names of those that had had visions on the island. But didn't contain Charlie, or those who had since died. WTF was that list about?

The list was people who Ben needs... the most important ones are jack kate and sawyer because he can play them against each other to get what he wants from them.... I think?!

it's not a proper series, just an inbetween seiries thing. the proper series 3 starts in feb in america so soon after that here

I have seen the first four and am also resisting the urge to watch the next two, will wait till I have a quiet afternoon. Loving every minute of it.

I think last year when it was shown in the US they had lots of one or two week gaps because of various other things going on so decided to have a 6 week gap this time rather than lots of little ones. I've seen episode 6 zephyrcat (but can't guarantee I can remember or will be able to shed light on anything!)

Yes- there are only 6 episodes for now with a 'mini-cliffhanger' at the end of the 6 and then the next 17 or so are in Feb
