I was in a traffic jam alongside Jeremy Clarkson in the next lane. Does that count?

Sorrento2014 · 22/05/2015 22:43

John Craven (of newsround fame,in the 80's) and Toni Arthur who wrote some children's books and was on TV about that time. A couple of the actors from Doctors can often be spotted in my local Sainsbury's but we nonchalantly walk on!Oh and I was once behind Christopher Timothy at the checkout but played it cool so that's not really 'meeting' I suppose!

fifteenminutesnearfame · 22/05/2015 22:44

I sat in a jacuzzi with four members of Take That.

Had to NC for this post as I tend to tell this story to almost everyone I meet within minutes. Blush

Anthony Hopkins, agree surprisingly short. (My mum vaguely mixed in the same circles, went to meet hi in his dressing room at NT after seeing him as King Lear in late 80s).
Peter Cushing (school friend's grandad who lived near where we were on holiday went over to see her, no idea who he was, my dad was a little surprised when he came to get me)
Michael Rosen (school friend's uncle, used to go round for tea all the time)
Tom Baker (went out with first school friend's mum, often round when I was, sometimes gave me a lift).
Used to deliver papers to a lot of the mid 1980s Tory Cabinet.

I went to school in central London. There were children of actors and politicians all over the place.

SometimesItRains · 22/05/2015 23:04

Well not me, but my DH received a kettle from Tom Hiddleston in his first year at uni (they lived in the same halls, it wasn't a completely random thing).
