I love luscious little outfits of life, top blazer,complete with scarf then snubs his gay son cuz it doesn't suit his image! Theres been a ridiculous family saga void since ugly Betty finished.

I watched, still enjoying it so far...

Last night was good. I couldn't help myself today and watched a few clips on YouTube I just love the music as well. I'm buying the soundtrack when I find it!

Is it suitable for a 12 year old? I only watched one and it seemed ok, but I wasn't paying close attention.

I'm completely addicted, watching it at UK pace. Have to agree with others it is a bit 'ugly betty'.

Also, I did wonder at first if cookie was Ashanti too! Don't have much else to say at min but wanted to join thread and say how much I love it thinkthatsclearnow

I love it too. It feels strange watching in 'real time' and having to wait a week for the next episode. I'm looking forward to seeing Jamal take on his dad. I thought they might make more of the 3rd brother's bipolar.

i know his biploar seems quite tame atm may get worse.

from what ive read in spoilers on line i think they do go into more detail with the bipolar.

me too im so glad jamal made a stand for himself and hes got cookie now for support too. i hope he makes it big.

Love this show! Where can I watch it online?? As in, I don't want to have to wait till next Tuesday for episode 5!

Poor Anika did not have a good episode this week. And I lived how Jamal's DD was abandoned that afternoon, but had a nanny by bedtime and wasn't upset at all at her mother leaving her with a bunch of filthy rich strangers.

I would hire Anika in a heartbeat. She is so intelligent, beautiful and efficient. But Cookie is something else! I love the female characters in this.

Empire is one of the best things on Telly at the minute.

I'm still watching...love the music and Cookie, she and Lucious have so much chemistry, love their banter.

Poor Anika - but then again look what she did to Courtney Love!
