So I'm watching Poldark and the musketeers etc and I've watched all the usual Austen's and Bronte's as well as things like Robin Hood and Merlin.
What might I have missed?
Any ideas welcome though I have watched a lot so can't think to list them all now.

I see many people have beaten me to say North and South. The end! Swoooooon.

I'm going to take notes here. I love a good costume drama!

By the way there's a lot of speculation that Morgan is already dead.

The dead bodies from The Wolves there is an African American hand with a wedding band on it.

Seems strange that they would put that in there.

If it is true there will be a flashback to when and how it happened.

The jacket is quite similar to the one that Morgan had on, but also there's a pair of sunglasses right next to the arm.

Morgan was wearing sunglasses when he was following the group.

Ooops wrong thread ignore me guys!

CheerfulYank · 27/03/2015 05:46

Hahaha! I do like a bit of TWD :o

LittleBairn · 27/03/2015 06:11

The Jewel in the crown is great too and seems to be forgotten now a days.

Marking place with interest. I love a costume drama but haven't heard of the half of these. Glorious 39 sounds good.

There's one called Twenty Thousand Streets Under the Sky, with Phil Davis and a young Sally Hawkins, set in the 30s. The characters have quite tough lives and don't earn much (she's a barmaid) and it's got a sort of faded gritty glamour and a slight desperation.

Ripper Street is awesome.

Would love to watch The Jewel in the Crown; I was a bit too young the first time round.

What are The Lotus Eaters and Who Pays the Ferryman about?

ppeatfruit · 27/03/2015 13:17

Yes The Jewel in the Crown was good and A Passage to India LittleBairn.

The version of Brudeshead with Matthew Goode and Ben Wishaw is brilliant

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 28/03/2015 12:30

Wow so many ideas. And quite a few I haven't seen.

Ppeat- it was the Bucanneers

Derek- I may have watched all the the current outlanders last week in 24 hours Blush

Maybe I need to make a spreadsheet to show what I've seen. There's just too many to reply to each idea
But thank you, it really is appreciated

Oh thanks Jayne I liked that and wouldn't mind seeing it again Grin I LOVE Greg Wise Grin

OnlyLovers · 31/03/2015 13:59

Jayne, I watched Desperate Romantics when it was on. It was a bit rubbish but Aidan T was very pretty. He's too big for it now, no doubt, but I'd watch another series if he and the rest of the cast came back. Grin
