Why did no one tell me how good The Fall was?

I've just watched the first two series in the past 3 days and I was completely hooked. Is there any chance of a third series do you think? Or would it be a bit rubbish like Broadchurch? Or is Jamie Dornan too big a star now?

Yes I think they said there was a third, but not sure if it was a follow on. Brilliant and creepy at the same time. Great acting and story line. I need to know what happened to katerina

I can't imagine there will be a third as Jamie Dornan's character met his demise.

One of the best series that's been on TV in a very long time. Done more for his acting credibility than 50 shades.

His acting is brilliant, and really chilling. it was quite difficult to watch some of the scenes.

Ah but did he scratchandsniff? Didn't it end with her saying we're losing him but we didn't actually see him die.

I know he was probably offered a massive wad of cash to do 50 SOG but I think he should have held out for something with a bit more class. Thought he was amazing in it. In fact I thought everyone in it was excellent.

Hmmm I remember him looking pretty damn dead but you never know. I'm not sure where the storyline could go now that he's been caught.

He was definitely dead, but I'd love a 3rd series with Gillian Anderson heading up another investigation - she was ace!

OK so you both just had me doubting what I watched so I googled it! Grin. All the results say we don't know what happened and it was left as a cliffhanger.

I thought it was a cliffhanger too.
I thought Gillian was a little too concerned about Jamie and not concerned enough about the poor policeman handcuffed to him Grin

Just read on Twitter the bbc has confirmed Jamie Dornan and Gillian Anderson WILL be making series 3 to air next year!

Really,really sad. For the victim and her family and friends, the accused and his family and friends.

Where's that Holly? That's not something I've heard of. Horrible all round & that's what I think made The Fall so scary in season 1, ie that he seemed a perfectly normal family man with a nice wife & children & could literally be your next door (v fanciable!) neighbour.

Just saw a link on the BBc website to a trailer for series 3 on iplayer. Haven't been able to watch yet as I am on a train with the least reliable wifi ever..
