asas I'm a police officer who has never felt fear like the fear I felt when sandwiched between two opposing demonstrators Horrible and scary. I just wanted to go home and hug my children and hug dh. I'm not alone feeling like that. There are many Muslim police colleagues of mine who feel this fear and much worse. Horrible. Makes me ashamed to be British. The only thing that keeps us going, is knowing how important it is to stand up against bigotry and racism.

This is like watching the start of fascism. Horrid.

Strangely enough I do believe one day we will become a country run by a muslim govt. under sharia law and wonder where that will lead us as a country.

I do believe too many people play the racist card and stifle sensible debate about the issues around immigration and integration, I don't believe the current policies are working very Wellbutrin I don't think any of the current parties are capable of getting any of these issues under control.

Thanks all you have no idea how much it helps! I love my job, I honestly believe I am a decent honest person who does her job to the best of my ability. I don't for one second ignore the past but I wholeheartedly believe that one person can make a difference. Thankfully I am not alone in feeling like this. Your local bobby is more multi cultural and sensitive to diversity than you can imagine. But we can always do more. Holding a hand out and hoping the British public can take a hold back.

And the vast majority do Linsk you may have a skewed view, because of the job, but I truly believe 80% of brits are happy to live in a multicultural country, probably more.
