ooh oh oh ! I work there ! I know them all and am so proud and emotional after last night.
It was amazing.

I think Mo might have a little bit of a fan club after last night Grin

You have every right to be proud. Grin

Nancy66 that's what I kept saying to DH, the granddad kept saying "she was, she did, she would've etc." I was absolutely convinced she had died and I couldn't bear it Sad

I love '24 hours', pleased that it's back on. I'll miss Jen (another admirer/ crush over here) but love the new team. Because the 'past tense followed by reveal that patient is actually alive' is one of the programs favourite things to do, I was completely certain she lived all the way through. Never mind, I enjoy the program enough to forgive them the added dramatics.

I identified with quite a lot of what Luke's parents were saying (jealousy, struggling to accept that your child won't ever be like other children, but also finding happiness with them), so I got a bit emotional watching that.

I used to work at George's too Smile Medical school rather than NHS. Funny to see the aerial shots of Tooting, it looks a lot less grotty from a helicopter.

I also love this programme. I generally can't get through an episode without a fe tears. I'd be useless if I worked in medicine I think. Best that I don't!

Luke's parents seemed so strong with everything they face. And it was good to hear their honesty about how hard it is while also being very clear how much they loved him.

I also blamed the mum of the girl with the needle in her foot for her panicking. 'My mum's told me it might travel to my heart' FFS

Anyone watching tonight? I'm watching on 4 plus 1. Becky the lovely nurse who lost her mum when she was just a little girl. I have a strong urge to tell you that your mum would be so, so very proud of you. Well done you.

The nurse that lost her son in a car crash, wow, what a woman you are, to want to help others even through your pain.

Real heroes in front of my eyes, I apologise if I sound sentimental but these people are bloody amazing. Celebs are being paid thousands just for getting out of bed and then there are these people.....!

I was there as an A&E patient while the filming was going on. Didn't agree to be filmed though as had no idea how things would go health wise and how soon things would be broadcast. Looking back, maybe agreeing would have helped the general public re symptoms but hey ho...

I love the programme tho and have nothing but admiration for the work the NHS do.
