X FACTOR- it's MOVIES week!! Spot the totally predictable song choice...

Here is the list of songs- I'm annoyed, I tell you, very annoyed. Did they not take heed of the 'Songs never to sung on X Factor EVER AGAIN' list? No- they did not. And worst of all, it is Pugsy who is becoming more predictable by the week. I thought they liked him. Sad

X Factor 2014 songlist – Week 3

Andrea Faustini (Pugsy)
Listen by Beyoncé from Dreamgirls-Angry

Jack Walton
Eye Of The Tiger by Survivor from Rocky

Fecking awful list: would it kill them to find original songs. I'm especially Angry at Mel B and Pugsy, who could do with a song that connects with the viewers without so many vocal acrobatics. Yes I know I'm over-invested.

fRaahhnkenstein · 25/10/2014 17:33

Rudy- Movie week has thrown up some corkers.

Marcus doing 'Higher and Higher' which no-one knew was from a film.
Did Jedward do Ghostbusters on Movie week, or hallowe'en? Either way, it was bad.

Oh christ...Pugsy singing Listen...just, why?

slimytoad · 25/10/2014 17:36

Gorgeous! Congratulations again :)
Mine is 5 weeks old, no idea where the time has gone. Not technically a newborn any more :(

fRaahhnkenstein · 25/10/2014 17:37

I have just had a look, and both 'Listen' and 'Skyfall' were performed last year.Angry

And it was the week of the atrocious 'Moon River' as sung by Joan Lewis. That was a painful one. Grin

It doesn't really matter what Jedward did when, the verdict is still "it was bad".

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 25/10/2014 17:48

Boring. There are so many film songs out there. Why re-hash the same ones again and again. Pugsy is my favourite so I'm afraid they're bore-ifying (yanno, that word that definitely exists! Grin) him on purpose, like they did with Ella.

Congrats to the new X-Factor thread babies/mums. Thanks

RudolphUcker · 25/10/2014 17:49

Joan and Moon River was a new low.

nancy75 · 25/10/2014 17:54

I'm sure this is pretty much the same list from last year's film week, sooo boring. With the addition of let it go - really? does anyone ever need to hear that song ever again?

ThinkIveBeenHacked congrats, lovely baby and fab babygro!

nancy75 · 25/10/2014 17:56

I still can't remember who Jack is but eye of the tiger is something to look forward to, i bet it will be really really good, given that his last performances have obviously been so outstanding and memorable...

PeteCampbellsRecedingHairline · 25/10/2014 18:14

What a pile of crap. I'm looking forward to Footloose though. Blush

Congratulations Hacked. So cute.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 25/10/2014 18:31

Jack, Jake and Jay. Too confusing, one of them has gotta go.

Love the squidgy newborn photo!

fRaahhnkenstein · 25/10/2014 18:37

Well, we could stick to the nicknames- it's easy to remember Clunt Grin

TheFairyCaravan · 25/10/2014 19:11

Evening all!

Congratulations Think' gorgeous baby! Flowers.

frankie80 · 25/10/2014 19:24

I love 'let it go' Blush

but I detest the demi lovato version Angry

CalamitouslyWrong · 25/10/2014 19:24

Robot Jack doing eye of the tiger will be astounding. He has the emotional range of a toaster.

Wanger was probably the highlight of all xfactor's really. Joan lewis doing moon river may have been the low point. It's a wonder they didn't lumber Lauren-laments-the-dead with it.

CalamitouslyWrong · 25/10/2014 19:25

And, yes, lovely baby. I can tell now that the beautiful tiny mascot will be by far the best thing about xfactor tonight.

CalamitouslyWrong · 25/10/2014 19:28

The Demi lovato version of let it go is truly crap. Not listening to music on the radio seems to have saved me from hearing it, and now I've ruined it all by googling.

fRaahhnkenstein · 25/10/2014 19:34

Lauren-laments Grin

Cal- it's like Moaning Myrtle in Harry Potter Grin

CalamitouslyWrong · 25/10/2014 19:38

fRaahhnkenstein · 25/10/2014 19:40

I saw Union J perfume in boots today, just in case, you know, some of you are struggling for things to put on your xmas list.

Were they last year or the year before?

CalamitouslyWrong · 25/10/2014 19:51

Union j, not exactly the scent of success!

I think they did a turn in the toy department of my local fenwicks some time in the last year.
