Haven't seen any of this series yet but was the teacher gay in the last series? The nice 'conchie' teacher not the brutal bully? Can't fully remember but it rings a bell. Not having watched this series yet though this might have precisely nothing to do with it...

I don't think the teacher is/was gay.

The female teacher married one of the Allinghams (bloke with moustache, can't recall his name) and I think she lives there with them.

I think Caro is still living with her family but the baby was adopted out.
