I'm looking for one too and can't find it :( Ive just watched this weeks and it looked like one of the babies had the cord around it's neck but it was completely brushed past. Just wondered if anyone else saw that?!

Oh I thought that too Ruushii!

Oh! I didn't notice that but I did think one of the babies looked bluer than the other babies born on this week's programme.

I was struck by the very close, supportive relationship between the blonde girl and her mum. I couldn't decide whether to feel a bit sorry for her fiancé who was taking a back seat to her mum or to think how much more sensible it is to have an experienced mum, who is also your mum with you rather than your partner. After my second baby was born it struck me that in the event of having a third baby I'd rather my DH stayed at home with the other DC than uselessly clutter-up the delivery room.

Dads didn't used to be present at the birth. Is it better for their relationship with their DC if they're there or would it sometimes be better for the mum to have someone who knows what they're doing with them instead? Doula I suppose?

Not that I'll be having more DC now that mine are 15 and 17!

It was the first birth in the pool. When the midwife was lifting the baby onto the mum, the cord was like running up the baby's back and I'm sure it was round the neck too. But they said nothing and just did the happy music. It was a bit Shock I'm glad someone else saw it too!

I'm one of those who had my hmm there as well as my (at the time) partner and I can honestly say I wouldn't have been able to do it without her! She's done it herself quite a few times and she spoke up for me loads while my (at the time) partner was just useless. But then I watch one born and see some of the men and think wow, he was really supportive! I reckon it all just depends on what everybody is like.

Not my hmm, autocorrect going wild, my mum.
