I know I could watch English programmes, but watching Danish TV has produced two excellent side results, my children (8-11) vacate the sitting room at 9 as soon as the Danish goes on. Ogsa, min dansk gar godt nu. ha ha. (i'm sure that is full of mistakes)

Yy to ''The Hunt'. Yes it is dark and serious, but in a sort of bearable way. ( ashamed to say I haven't got around the others yet) - on a different note- loved 'A Royal Affair' too (something as rare as Danish (more or less) period drama) - cant remember what language it is In though, ( part English?)

Mammon is shaping up rather well.

I second Lilyhammer for a good Norwegian drama/comedy. I am particularly loving the second series.

Crossing Lines on Amazon Prime Video. The two part pilot is ropey at times but it goes from strength to strength. It is English speaking but has a euro-crime feel.

I 've seen headhunters, at the cinema years ago, but I thought it was great. I'll check out protectors, the eagle, lilyhammer........

vikingnc ooh I had to put dygtig in to translate there but thank you!! I notice some people say very like 'mal' and some say it like 'mIte'. Confused. Not that I'm ever going to go to Denmark. I don't know why my brain is plugged in to notice it.

HOW many hours of Danish tv have I watched! bogen (30 hours?) the killing (40) the bridge (24), dem som draeber about 12? good grief.

Op, Mor dig godt= have fun (but I think you did work that one out)

Very is 'meget' which sounds like maiet or maieth ( no 'l' sound, but English speakers seem to often mishear it that way (my dh does in any case) Wink

Hej hej
