I didn't ever realise what utter trash GREY'S ANATOMY is!!

I missed this when it first came out, for some reason I thought it was a high brow medical drama-how wrong could I be?Grin

It's complete trash and I love it! It's on sky box sets atm, series 1-9, I'm on series 2 so farSmile

I can't bear Meridith, simpering girlie and doctor SheppardHmm love everyone else though!

Dr Burke made me cry when he climbed into bed after the ectopic pregnancySad Blush

That's not what happened though - he didn't say anything to George in real life but did make a stupid comment when he was drunk. Katherine Heigl told everyone what he said & in denying it, he actually then said what she said he said (IYSWIM). From reading the reports at the time, she very much had it in for him & he got sacked & hasn't really worked since. [We lived in the States then & it was constantly on the Entertainment news].

From other stuff they reported, I think he was generally a bit of a dick & not v popular on set, but she really went after him for it.

Don't get me wrong, I don't condone what he said at all, but he didn't actually say anything to George as is reported.

Who knows what goes on behind the scenes I guess.

But no one should be making those kind of comments either first or second hand :(

Totally agree that he should never have used that language, but from what I remember at the time, I don't think he called anyone it, but used the language when George was around & Katherine Heigl then told everyone & pretty much outed George at the same time, at least to the mainstream public.

Apparently he's coming back at the end of series 10 for a guest appearance.

From the sounds of it really nasty & KH was all over the news talking about it & seemed to be making the most of it.

A couple of seasons later, she was all over the tabloids saying how stupid the storyline was with her seeing Denny (before it was known what was going on) & really slagging off the writers (at the same time as her doing more movies) so I totally went off her.

She just seemed to get too big for her boots IMHO Grin

I wasn't a fan as I hated what a bitch she was to Callie, but then all the stuff in real life put me off her completely & I was glad when she left!

[Obviously getting v confused by reality & fiction but it did put me off her!]

Just watching April & Jackson - she's so annoying & such a cow to him!

Did I mention I miss Mark & Lexi - he was great for that bit of light relief! There's no one fun now!

I'm now up to episode 14 of season 9 - it's still bugging me that the interns that were Meredith & Izzys first (when George repeated his intern year) have just disappeared! Even that pregnant one that they gave her job back to - why show that if she's not going to appear again?

Also, where did the dr go to that replaced Arizona (he fancied Kepner & used to be in Ally McBeal)?

I love the show & all the crazy storylines, but characters disappearing really bugs me as I'm big on continuity!!

He's in the episode I just watched (early season 9) so no idea where he went after that. I'll keep an eye on him to see if it's mentioned.
