Just seen this - it was a travesty. Patrick was galloofering round the floor with concrete hips - Anya was working v hard. At least Deborah danced the dance.

Thanks for the new thread polka Well WTF were the public thinking about? Dave can barely stand let alone dance!! Both couples in the dance off were better than that big Rugby guy and Mark whathisname? Even the judges looked very sheepish as did Tess and Claud (WTF was Tess wearing?) it looked about 5 sizes too big for her

Grrrrrrr!!! So ridiculous that that dancing monkey Dave is still in, the public are chumps!

Duh I didn't mean Tess's dress of course (though that looked a touch tight on her!) I meant Claud's sack number.yyyminty

I really hope that next year Robin is paired with someone who has the potential to win.

I agree re Claudia's dress - wtf? IMO she needs to wear something a bit more fancy, she looks a bit out of place amongst all the sparkle and glitter.

Aw what a shame. Think Deborah had a few more weeks in her. She would probably have beaten Rachel, Dave and Fiona. Shame it was against Patrick.

I love Robin, always so lovely with his slebs. He's gound his niche with the mid table mature ladies. Love that he didn't turn her into the comedy routine.

Rachel is going to have to up her game next week. She was almost Dave bad.

So sad to see Deborah go :( it wasn't her time.. I really like Dave but I fear this will now be the start of John Sergeant-style rage from the public at his staying in, which I always find a bore.

His dance with Aliona was fab but I want to see him back with Natalie Lowe! Will Aliona just be ditched from pro dances once Natalie Lowe is back??

Oh & yes agreed that Robin definitely needs a contender next year! He more than deserves it.

My mum said Claudia looks like a dinner lady, absolutely no offence to dinner ladies but I know what she means

Oh dear. Poor Deborah and the wrong two couples in the dance off. Surely Dave 's time must be nearly up?

I think Natalie said on ITT that she'll be back in group dances in about 2-3 weeks, so I presume Aliona will be off then.

I was gutted for them Robin bless him was so upset patrick just sort of hoofed about hoping for the best i know he had hurt his arm I just don't get it,

yeah I agree it was the daft table routine there was no need for it imo

just caught up on iplayer (was out last night) can't believe it, I mean I don't swear but all sorts of things are coming into my head now how on earth did the lovely debra and robin end up leaving when dave who clearly can't dance and his banana eating partner are still in although I'm sure karen isn't really as annoying as she seems if she's engaged to kevin from grimsby! this is a dancing competition not how many stupid faces can they pull!!!!

The result was a travesty. The Dave novelty has well and truly worn off for me; it stops being funny or endearing when it starts forcing off better dancers.

I liked that Deborah didn't try to put a brave smile on and was happy to look pissed off in front of the nation .

I really don't get the Patrick love from the judges. To me his legs and feet look plankish and heavy and his arms gangly and unwieldy. Wasn't sorry to see him in the dance-off but was expecting it to be him and Rachel, who was rubbish.

I thought nearly everyone was a bit underwhelming this week, TBH. Even Natalie's samba didn't really take off and I don't feel the 'chemistry' between Abbey and Aljaz the judges go on about.
Sophie was overmarked –stiff, half-hearted, wooden legs like a clothes peg doll.
Ashley also overmarked: sloppy feet and often bad arms.
Mark was sweet.
Fiona MUCH better and her acting was tip-top. A charming and sparkly dance.
Ben was a bit plankish but OK.
LOVED Susanna. She and Kev are a joy to watch. Highlight of this weekend for me. Oh, apart from Earth Wind and Fire of course.

I dont see the A n A chemistry either i think they just look for things to say really and they are a good looking couple i spose, there is more chemistry between anton and fiona he luffs her than anybody else imo
