Ok, admittedly its an odd juxtaposition comparing her with Shaw's heroin but in many ways she is more a fish out of water then Glyn is. She uses the language of her social situation and her peer group ? but don't we all to a degree. Many have defended Glyn for his use of his first language, Lisa's vocabulary, slang and its use are very much her primary. I cannot foresee her ever repeating the mantra "But in Hampshire, Hereford and Hartford hurricanes hardly ever happen" . She would have very little credibility amongst her friends if she abandoned it.
She wears her heart on her sleeve, says what she thinks (not in that faux honest way some people claim they do) only for the reason that she knows of no other way to behave. I don't believe she is devious or game playing ? her nomination of Nikki clearly looked like mouth engaging before brain (It was some time after that the mathematics of the situation dawned on her).
She is difficult to categorise ? she fits none of the stereotypical expectations of a young Chinese/British woman ? She's a tomboy, shows real emotion (anger, frustration and fun....ok a good amount of anger). None of it is staged, a lot of it is wrong, but by god its real.
She has no motive of furthering a media career, and refreshingly is not a serial BB groupie. No stories have magically appeared in the redtops, not a whiff of bed hopping with footballers, no previous glamour shoots or videos doing the rounds. I do not believe she even knows Calum Best. I find that all very refreshing.
For all Richards sycophantic support group babbling I think he got it right saying she had a good heart. She lacks social skills in dealing with people outside her experience's (which covers just about all in that house) ? her 'journey' is looking like its coming to an end and I for one think its too soon.
Its a shame that she has no one in that house to be her Henry Higgins and in his words -
?Remember that you are a human being with a soul and the divine gift of articulate speech; that your native language is the language of Milton and Shakespeare;don?t sit there crooning like a bilious pigeon."
