I have just taken delivery of the Casanova DVD. Can't wait to watch it but I think it has to be a time when I am on my own!

Sigh... I have watched the first episode of casanova on my DVD and, although I can't get out of my head Expat's image of a lizard, I still think he is gorgeous...

I read in a magazine today ( and i can't remember which one) that he is going to be in the next series of Who Do You Think You Are. We will probably get to hear that lovely Scots accent

He's one of those men that I don't think is attractive physically, and in some cases even repulsive, but fancy the arse off him anyway. Blush

Saltire, I have heard the same news too. That is one programme I will not be missing. I love it anyway, but the thought of spending an hour in DT's company learning personal things about him is more than I could resist!

PanicPants, I don't have a problem with the physical side of him. TBH, the physcial appearance of a man is not the most important thing to me anyway, and big muscly men only do it for me in a very basic way (like Grant on Eastenders, but I wouldn't want to spend time with him out of bed). David Tennant just looks sparky and confident and that is far more attractive to me than muscles or matinee idol looks.

Funnily enough I got my Casanova dvd last week and got dh to sit and watch the first episode with me on Friday night, we loved it so much we watched the whole dvd in one go, and half way through dh turned round and said to me 'I can see why you like him' Grin

He is definitely not perfect looks wise but that does not appeal to me, I prefer a bit of something extra that DT seems to have, sooooo sexy Smile

I watched the Casanova DVD in one day (2 sittings) too! The thing that struck me about it is that episode one is so funny, episode 2, more serious but still with funny bits, and then episode 3 just makes me cry and cry. I have never admired Peter O'Toole before but he did grab at my heart in that production.

just because the middle class are polite and don't speak as they find doesn't mean they can be taken advantage of, does it bakedpotato...come on, help me out here, you know it's illegal for us make any kind of social comment that isn't self depricating or apologetic.

Have been watching this thread and feel I must now come out from the closet and admit that I too am a DT freak....he's GORGEOUS!!!! Saw him in Blackpool (yum) and then Cassanova (phew!), so now as the Dr, well, it's so hard to contain myself Blush.

Have him has screensaver too, but have had to use piccy with Rose as well so DH not tooooo suspicious (I did say I was in the closet!).

Most definately think I need to invest in Cassanova DVD. Just think being able to see him over and over again ....ummm.....

BTW did anyone see him on Ready Steady Cook the other week??

Don't you think he's got a funny, almost Cherie Blair-ish square mouth though? I fancy him for about a minute and then his mouth puts me off. Looks like he'd always have unpleasantly wet lips too.
Great eyes, though.

He most certainly does not have any part that remotely resembles anything on Cherie Blair!! Quite a frightening thought that - Cherie Blair I mean.
