Does anyone else cringe when they see the advert for SJP's new perfume Lovely?

How can she advertise it by gurning at the camera?

Lovely - eek!

It's the name of the perfume that gets me!

Lol! Yes, I struggle to see what all the fuss is about with SJP too. There's something a bit camelly about her.

Are you all kidding? SJP is gorgeous. She's an American size 0, but she's an ex-dancer so she's got muscle definition, and she's got boobs too, beautiful teeth, suits any hair style, and don't you all remember the outfits from S&TC? The woman can wear ANYTHING and look fabulous. She doesn't "gurn", WTF?!?

But yes, 'Lovely' is about the worst name I can think of for a perfume.

Tamz have you seen the ad? It is really awful, she looks like she has scrubbed her face with a Brillo pad. She normally looks pretty good, don't know what the idea was behind the look for this ad. Doesn't inspire me to buy the perfume.

Hi, don't normally venture into these parts of the sites (or I'll get addicted to more threads!) but had to agree about that advert. I've never watched SATC but don't like the impression I get of her esp when she's pratting around in that dress saying "lovely".
I'm gonna run away now after slagging somebody off!

They should try calling one gurninghorseface and see if it sells

I'm very anti SJP but mainly because she made me upset a complete stranger....

Let me set the scene... Waiting to go into cinema. One of those big low down billboard things with a poster of SJP advertising something or other (showergel???)... So I stand there and say very loudly "The woman's face is all out of proportion, and the more you look at it, the more bizarre and scary she looks".

Then I spot the very hurt and offended looking woman standing in front of the poster

Sorry to say but she really looks witchy(moley moley moley!) and thin... has anyone seen her advertising the ballet work out dvds?

That perfume reeks. I tried it. It's right up there w/that Britney Spears stuff and that nasty Stella McCartney p*&s.
