nutcracker · 13/02/2006 23:09

I quite like Sporticus off Lazy Town

lahdeedah · 13/02/2006 23:17

ooh yes I loved Pip in the broom cupboard, with Gordon the Gopher. ahh the good old days...... He looks a bit shiny and plastic now he's on ITV don't you think? That skating thing on Saturday nights is appalling.

SorenLorensen · 13/02/2006 23:17

I don't fancy him in the least (despite having a soft spot for Welshmen - I did marry one, after all). But I think the programme is excellent - really like that slightly surreal edge, like today when he was peeling off the masking tape to reveal the picture (a clown) and one of the puppets said "It's Auntie Gwennie, shopping for cushions." I loved that!

Also pmsl when it was obviously a clown and he did a countdown for the 3 puppets to guess and two went "clown!" and one went "dinosaur!" and they all went "whaaat?" and the one that had got it wrong went "er...dinosaur CLOWN."

I think it's the best thing on CBeebies, awright?

Also, are we all agreed that now Sarah-Jane is a presenter on CBeebies there is a real "you could cut that with a not very sharp knife" atmosphere? She was on with Pui today and you can just tell Pui hates her.

I watched a lot of CBeebies today (ds2 is poorly) - can you tell?

Actually beginning to like the ad lib element of doodle do. I'm sure they are trying to wind each other up, in jest.

lahdeedah · 13/02/2006 23:30

Yes Doodle-do is refreshingly irreverent - definitely one of the best things on CBeebies - good characters and without that over-dramatic, try-hard thing - personified by Sarah-Jane and Justin... yuk

The music is really good too I think, quite funky and sophisticated for a CBeebies show.

mcmudda · 13/02/2006 23:32

Ds is already scouring the house for old gloves. In the meantime he has renamed his hands Dibdab and Stick - they shall not be referred to as left and right and they nick food at mealtimes. Dh's left hand is Scribble. My hands aren't good enough.

mum2lulu · 23/03/2006 13:18

nice 2 know im not the only one who fancies chris wasnt sure if it was just a side effect from watching childrens telly a lot and being single for a year.
he can doodle do me any day!
