Which 5 shows do you look forward to most at the moment ??

Excluding soaps, which 5 (or thereabouts) TV shows do you look forward to all week at the moment ?

Mine are:

  1. Life On Mars
  2. Shameless
  3. Who Do You Think You Are

.... and, at the risk of being stoned, until last Friday, an hour's worth of "gentle", "get away from it all" gardening with 4) Christine's Garden and 5) The Gardening Year, with Alan Titchmarsh.

As these have now finished to make way for the winter olympics, I'm getting my gardening fix from UK Style Gardens and old repeats of Home Front in the Garden with the gorgeous Diarmuid Gavin.

Life On Mars is the one where a present day cop has an accident and wakes up in 1973. Hilarious non-pc cop show. He has to work out how to get back to his present day body.

Some really lol moments in it. I'm sure there's a thread about it somewhere....

Fab. Just fab.

Last place is a toss up between Sea of Souls (which I go from loving to hating), reruns of Touch of Frost (I know, I know!), and live football. I loved America's finest supermodel the first time round but the timing (for me to watch) always seems to be wrong this time.

University Challenge is the ONLY tv program I look forward too . DH and I were once quite shocked at ourselves when we sat in a cafe on holiday trying to work out where we recognised the person on the next table from. turned out he was a UC finalist. I think we ought to get out more
