Mine has.

Before he went in I said on here I thought it was outrageous and that he was going to be "starring" in it and that he is a
vile man.

After BB I feel totally different.

After hearing the news this morning that he's met Stuart Lubbocks father I feel even more changed in my opinion.

I'll wish him luck now.

Don't like him. My first and awful reaction was one of wondering how much the father had been paid. An awful thing to say I know, no father should go for that, but as I say, my initial reaction.

Piffle · 31/01/2006 20:39

With all due respect I detested him long before he was accused of anything criminal

lars · 31/01/2006 20:43

I think he came across a bit of a nut really.
I do feel that something funny went on that night at his roydon home. The more I saw he break down on TV, the more I thought he had something to hide i'm afraid.
I have seen him live and to be honest he was not funny and I can't bear the thought of him on tv again, time to turn over. I think Chantelle and Preston would make a better show!!! larsxx

did no one read the paper today, that his outburst at jodie was becoz she'd been slaggin off jordan all the way through the show and he got pisd off with it. they edited it all out becoz jodie was so foul and only showed MB making her cry. id like to see him back on t.v so there

I actually think MB's comments about how he got sick of JM going on about Jordan was a ploy to appeal to the masses. He knows that it couldn't be broadcast for legal reasons so again i feel it is a way of him digging himself out of a hole. After all if he is so disgusted by JM then why would he leap to Jordan's defence, is he frineds with jordan? Does he care about her? I think not. I think he is very manipulative and is playing a very dangerous game, he is clearly unstable and self centred. His humour has always been a bi-product of his malicious tongue and in the BB house he displayed to the public that this is a trait in his character not 'just for laughs'

But she was an easy target, lets face it many people have justified his malicious outburst just because it was directed at JM. IMO a bully will always pick on someone who they perceive to be disliked, this is clearly what he did, or am I missing something?

i loooooove jordan!and no im not gay

I found watching MB on BB poignant. His turbulant rises to hilarity and dips to sadness did touch me and I felt extreme empathy towards him.

I don't believe he was 'playing a game'. I do think his insecurity and worry for others was apparent. He cried rather than fought, hid in the garden to cry when things got too much. I think there was a lot to be seen that give explanation to issues surrounding the death of the partygoer.

Can't think why his nature touched me....

ooooh yes, that's it! His rambling emotions, sense of humour, ability to entertain, need to cry and alcoholism remind me, to a fault, of my father. He also can't deal with life particulaly well and dissapears whenever anything arises (namely his children) that bring him emotions too strong to bear.

Definitely a striking resemblance between character types. I wonder if MB's struggling with depression too?

Do think meeting with father of poor drowned man was tasteless and too easily construed as a transparent publicity stunt, sadly.

I never really had much of an opinion of MB and I didn't watch a huge amount of Celeb BB, but I do think the media manipulates these situations. Just take a look at the contestants on Celeb BB, the only two "real celebrities" both had reputations, one for his dealings in politics and his radical views and friendship with Sadam Hussain, and the other for the lifestyle he has led, from coming out as gay to confessing to being an alchoholic, to the death of a man in his swimming pool. The rest of them were, if we're honest, nobodies, after all, I don't exactly think that having had a hit 20 years ago, or being a page 3 girl or having a reputation for having shagged the england manager and various of his co workers classifies one as a celebrity. If there had been a lot more famous and current celebrities on Celeb BB, then Michael Barrimore would not have attracted nearly as much publicity as he did, which only goes to prove that channel 4 achieved what they set out to achieve, to make a contravercial ex-commedian look good in the eyes of the media/public.

I dunno, I expect Maggot and Preston probably were known to younger viewers (who are the majority for this programme).

I saw Preston doing his ordinary boys stuff on MTV the other day and was surprised by how good they were. Music very like a latter-day Madness.
