i think what might have swung it for MB is that he said he'd learned alot by being in the house. His behaviour towards Jodie was disgraceful but I think he came to understand something about bullying by watching Pete, Dennis and George. I think it's been good for him to be in there.

And I don't see why if Leslie Grantham can have a career he can't. He hasn't been disrespectful to the family or gloating in any way.

Yes it's funny how Leslie G is somehow OK. He is actually a convicted murderer (I think) whereas Barrymore isn't.

Thinking about it I think Socci's right - George's attack on him, plus the brilliant way he dealt with it, is probably what swung it for him.

Ok, I haven't really been watching so correct me if I'm wrong. As the non-celebrity wins she gets to keep £25,000 but if a celebrity had won Endemol would have had to give £100,000 to charity?
It does seem in Endemol's financial interest for Chantelle to win.

A predictable result which big brother had cleverly doctored throughout. The viewing public were totally smitten with Chantelle/smugtelle, and the very idea of the glamourous world that is celebrity, embracing an essex gal and totally turning her image persona to tune into the working class vote. . Fair play to Chantelle, who knew she had all the ingredients of 'winner' from the off. As for the other carefully constructed play within the play, Barrymore's journey of pain and his undoubtable desperation for retribution, 'good game'.

Good luck to her, I don't think any of them deserved to win - only Big Brother won for stirring up so much conflict and for making us watch it all.

All the calls have apparently raised 450K for charity.
