Oooer MrsMcGowan, do I know you? As I was good friends with Shane for many years, pre and post Pogues, and went to most Pogues gigs and album launches I think I've seen him sing enough to be able to give my opinion that his singing aint great but he was always original, committed and charismatic!

I think individually Katie Melua is good but she was an apalling choice for this song - You need someone with a gutsy voice if you know what I mean! I heard rumours that they were both pissed!
