Lost - Help with last episode that was on Ch4

I don't understand a part that happened on the episode that was shown on Channel 4 last week. The bit where Sawyer shoots the guy who he thinks is Sawyer. What does that guy say, and is it the wrong person? I didn't quite get it. Thanks.

Tomorrow night's E4 episode is a corker.

E4's episode tomorrow night is about hurley. I took a sneaky peak at abc's lost website and got to see some videos from the 2nd series.... I am v v v v v v confused!

flamesparow - there was lots of support for your father theory last night!
At least one of our questions was answered last night: every week my dh has asked 'when are Hurley's batteries going to run out?'

And again on this week's E4 episode about Locke. I can't believe I didn't see this father thing till you pointed it out!

in terms of the characters being intertwined from before the crash - did anyone think they saw Hurley on the TV of a character (think it was the Korean couple) when we were seeing their flashback scenes? it was maybe 4 episodes ago. Think what we saw was Hurley getting his lottery check. This has been really bugging me!

My dh thinks he saw that too - only mentioned it to me now though.

Am starting to get really annoyed with the amount of adverts they put in between Lost. Last night, when it came back after the first advert break, the credits were still being shown ffs!! Is is just me?!

And the stupid blokes doing their bits at the end of each bit and beginning of the next. 1 very strong arguement for recording and watching you can miss all the ads!!

Think there are 23 or 24 episodes in total.

I have watched the e4 episode... am I right in saying the next couple of episodes that are left will be good? for all of u that have seen them?

thank you cupcakes and smowqueen. Wish i'd stayed up longer last night to see you replies - i could have slept so much easier knowing i was not alone. Totally agree about the adverts being completely out of control. My friend who has downloaded the series says that each episode is actually only 40 mins - so we are being subjected toa full 20 mins of ads. it is outrageous and def compromises my viewing pleasure!

It's not as bad on c4 - it's only e4 which is excessive with the ads. I start reading a magazine and have lost interest by the time it comes back on. However, I do find the 2 blokes quite amusing though.

I think they're all interlinked. It was Hurley on Tv and Sawyer being arrested when Boone goes in to the police station to report Shannon's assault. Also, I'm betting that the box company that Hurley's accountant was telling him he owned will be the same one that Locke worked for.

For a while I thought they were all linked to Jack, now think maybe the 'father theory' sounds good.

oh yes i forgot about the 'sawyer arrest' scene. I am totally noticing the father thing now (all bad daddies too - some sort of 'sins of the fathers' thing going down?). But what about Hurley's dad? Was he dead already? i think you will be right about the box company btw homemam

I'll try not to put to much info in this so people who follow it on Ch4 don't get the upcoming episode spoiled.

But it does link in with that theory about fathers, don't you think? I can't have been the only one who was nearly crying at the end!
