Ok, Nana Moon had one son, Alfred, father of Alfie and Spencer. Where do Jake and Danny fit in? They are also called Moon and they call her Nana. Am I missing the obvious??? Who were their parents.

TIA

I think its Dennis that dies too (BOOHOO ) I know he is leaving and if you look at who is at the front of that picture - Sharon, his wife, Dot, his good friend, Pauline, coz she is a busybody!!

Coathanger · 14/11/2005 11:42

Oh and is it true Ian Beale is going too?

Lonelymum · 14/11/2005 11:43

dennis leaving? Oh there really won't be any point watching then. Is this so sharon can get it back together with one of the Mitchells?

Lonelymum · 14/11/2005 11:45

If I remember what Shane Ritchie said (remembered his name!) I think he said Kat was leaving, and Dennis and Sam and Nana and him. Don't remember Ian Beale being mentioned, but I couldnd't care less if he did leave as he is so obnoxious!

bizzi · 14/11/2005 12:19

Helsi, how do you know about Williams brothers, John and Henry? Nevermind Johns son Bobby and his wife Alison! Are you a script writer? Anyway that would make Jake and Danny 2nd cousins to Alfie and Nana Moon would be their great aunt once removed!

compo · 14/11/2005 14:40

I heard that Sharon, Dennis, Kat, Alfie, Little Mo and Johnny Allen are all leaving. There will hardly be anyone left!!

mawbroon · 14/11/2005 15:27

Bizzi I was going to say something similar!! Yes, they would be related to Nanna Moon, but she wouldn't be their grandmother.

hmm, methinks that I have too much spare time if I am worrying about stuff like this!!

crazydazy · 14/11/2005 15:45

I asked that same question, it was so doing my head in!!!!! DP didn't have a clue as he gets all mixed up with relatives distant or not

Jake and Danny are deffo Alfie's cousins and they are called Moon so how can that be when Nana only had one child before William died?

I don't think the writers have thought about this too well. Think I might complain

PeachyPlumPudding · 14/11/2005 16:13

Thank God!!! I was so concerned I was turning into an obsessed freak musing over the Moon family tree in my bed at night!

Hi guys, just got back in. Thought this thread would die quickly as I was being so obviously dense about something but glad to know I'm not alone!

There must be somebody at EE who is a M'netter. Can't she/he post and end the torture! Oh and no killing off Dennis please.

DH has just seen this and told me he thinks it's time I went back to full time employment.

Dennis, Kat, Alfie & Sam all leave. A new doctor arrives in December but he's not as dishy as Nigel Harman (Dennis)

hunkermunker · 14/11/2005 19:36

I just want to know where the kitchen is in the Vic that they get the bar food from and who makes the food they serve. It's a mystery.

helsi · 14/11/2005 19:39

they actually use the flat kitchen which really wouldn't be allowed would it?

hunkermunker · 14/11/2005 19:40

No, wouldn't be allowed. Have never seen them use that kitchen for it though.

homemama · 14/11/2005 19:41

I think HM, that that's one of those little things we're not suppose to notice. Like why all these people living in such an expensive part of the country all need to use a launderette.

OP posts:
helsi · 14/11/2005 19:41

I have once a few weeks ago - there was a scene in the kitchen and Sharon I think asked Dennis to take some food down while she spoke to Chrissie.

helsi · 14/11/2005 19:42

additionally we have seen the inside of the loos in the vic but where are they?

homemama · 14/11/2005 19:43

Ah, now they're where the food counter was when Ian cooked the pub grub. (behind the piano)

OP posts:
Lonelymum · 14/11/2005 19:43

Or why they are all friends with each other and have no outside friends (apart from maybe Sonia). I mean, I have lived in London and I was lucky if I spoke to the people living in the same building as me!

hunkermunker · 14/11/2005 19:43

Round the left-hand-side of the bar.

homemama · 14/11/2005 19:44

I meant toilets are behind piano, not Ian cooked behind piano, obv.

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 14/11/2005 19:44

And why does not one of them work outside the Square (except Natalie who had a "posh job up tahn", but we all know how that ended!)?

helsi · 14/11/2005 19:46

and does anyone own a car (even Charlie sold his taxi)?
do you really not need a shop other than the minimart?
do people still hire videos?
how does Ian Beale afford stuff - thought he'd gone bankrupt?

Lonelymum · 14/11/2005 19:48

How do they manage to buy and sell businesses/homes in the space of one week or less. Hasn't anyone heard of conveyancing taking months?

helsi · 14/11/2005 19:49

DH just shouted to us all "because it isn't real"
