i think it is a disgrace that elaine is even in there. she has a very young son who was born with loads of problems. should she not be at home with her son being a mother

You could say the same about Jordan and Kerry (who missed her daughter's 1st b'day)- very personal decision.

Following Elaine's second collapse in camp, an ITV Spokesperson has issued the following statement:

"The safety and health of the celebrities is of paramount importance which is why paramedics are on site 24-hours a day."

"All of the celebrities undergo a medical and a psychological profile before they are signed for the show.

"On arrival in Australia they have a further session with a paramedic before the enter the jungle.

"As a precaution, Elaine has been taken to hospital for observation following this second incident.

"A senior member of the the production team will be close at hand throughout her stay in hospital and we will be ensuring that she receives the best possible care.

"We will also be keeping her family abreast of all developments.

"We obviously wish her a speedy recovery.

"At this stage we don't know if she'll be returning to the show."

So whose going to win then? Currently I think the two who will be the most entertaining for us to watch are David Dickensen and Carol Thatcher. I could help but like her last night....even after the pee thing.....but lets face it girls .....in a dark jungle would you want to walk by yourself to the loo at night....not me. I did have my concerns about it on the safety side even so.....does the smell of wee wee attract bugs and critters!

Here's my small 'I'm a Celebrity...' claim to fame. I was next to Antony Costa and his girlfriend (who my sister reliably informs me used to be in Emmerdale) in the queue at Early Learning Centre in Bluewater. They were buying a small fortune in toys.

There was a statement due at 9.30 re: Elaine - anyone heard it ? It was apparently 50:50 she'd fly home today overnight. Somehow doubt she'll go back in and they probably have a replacement lined up instead.
