Rewatching The West Wing dvds for what must be the 20th time and can't decide who would be best husband material.

Which would you chose?

Toby. Definitely. Josh is too jittery. Would irritate me with his nervous energy and endless talking. Not Santos or Sam. Too smooth. Too much hair product .

Charlie a little young for me Chair, but I did have a distinct moment for Santos when he strode out to his plane in his airforce uniform, all grinning and purposeful, after they pulled off that little trick with him turning up for his army service early.

I had not noticed Leo's wedding ring Ohmeo, that is quite sad. Did he wear it all the way through? I think balancing his utter devotion to the president, the COS job and a marriage would be almost impossible though.

Josh, no question. so rumpled. even Sam wouldn't get a look- in as he was just never quite credible as a nerd.

Will got terrible dialogue and a bad haircut, and was deeply unattractive as a result, IMO. He was always stating the obvious and seemed to get the lines Donna would have got earlier in the series where they felt someone needed to ask a question to clarify for viewers what was going on. Very unappealing.

Check out 'sports night' to truly appreciate Will (Joshua Malina).

He just makes me cringe. So EAGER.

OOh yes, I liked that. I could get quite carried away thinking about dinner for two in a nice hotel, Toby being all masterful and angst ridden about something. Drinking a fine wine, getting rogered senseless and him having a cigar afterwards, I love it when he has a cigar. wonders if I'm ovulating

Found the scenes when Josh sparred with Amy disturbingly hot, then realised I'd never have the political nous to be able to rise to that kind of standard

Yes, exactly. I think Josh would be far too needy in a relationship. There's a scene when he's getting together with Amy and he says that he worked so hard in college he missed out at all that relationship stuff and so he's not very good at relationships. It would be like going out with a teenager.
I don't think Toby would be much better, to be fair, but he's much more grown up.
Plus, I have a thing for beardy men.

Both! Josh first. And neither would be a long-term bet. But who cares?!
