definitely not allowed computers or on the phones had to rely on yellow pages, i am sure if they had told guy in posh hat shop they could not spend anywhere near that price did he know where they could get 2nd hand one i bet it would have said as he knew they would not buy his ... just say only need it once no box etc
would have gone to sari type shop for silk ... should have gone to east end... asked a funeral director where they get their top hats etc
