LOOSE WOMEN Anyone else find it annoying?????

I don't know why I have it on. I'm usually in the kitchen fixing lunch and it's on in the background. I find the panel to be really irritating and they have some very 'traditional' views. I know the host tries to be the voice of reason but it never really works. T

I know what you mean, Eaney, but I personally think that the others try to make out that Carol has an opposing view, or set her up to have one. If she wasn't interrupted or made fun of a lot of the time, she'd probably make more (common) sense. She certainly doesn't have untraditional views all the time - she saw nothing wrong in a woman being finacially supported by a man - but the problem with the format is they need an 'outrageous' one.

As I said before, Coleen Nolan really irritates me.

Agree, Kaye Adams doesn't suit make-up really but I think she's the ok-est of the bunch. Hate, hate, HATE Nolan woman, sooo frumpy and disapproving of anything "permissive". She's so old in the head. Oh, and boat singing Yorkshire woman gets on my t*ts as well, playing up to Northern call a spade a spade stereotypes.

Hate that Carol woman and Coleen Nolan after they said women shouldn't breastfeed in public and Coleen said her ample chest was for her hisband not her babies (or words to that effect).

Stopped watching it after that, think they try to hard to be young, modern with radical views but come over as a bit old fashioned.

When Carol said that the last time she'd cried was when she couldn't get a seat in the first class carriage of a train (and she was serious) I really, honestly wanted to throw the TV out the window. Has she no bloody idea how much some women have to live on each month?

and I cant stand it when they invite Kerry Mcfadden/Katona/Kitten on either and make the same stupid jokes about her massive boobs.... or when Kym Marsh of Hearsay "fame" goes on (about once every 8 weeks) and insists that 'Jack' has got some serious acting work "in the pipeline".

I was gutted when Murder She Wrote stopped, it tied in nicely with dd2's bottle feeding. Now they have Diagnosis Murder or some other such crap.

The best one I heard Carole saying was that she thought Bulimics just did it to lose weight the easy way.

I just find it dull. I put it on and then just lose interest, usually end up wandering off to clean the kitchen floor which suddenly becomes hugely entertaining.

Yes I did, with neighbours thrown in a bit in between. Kaye Adams has definitely got a fixation with Nolan's boobs, she mentions them almost every day.

Yes, Colleen's knockers are big. But not as big as mine. I too find it irritating they have the same tiresome 'all mates together taking the piss' jokes day in day out, like about boob size. It's a good idea to have a show aimed at women's issues, but we're not all vacuous bints who feel the need to talk about weight/body shape and our men all the time. It would be good if they could throw a more intellectual topic now and then.

The Wright Stuff is better, but that's because it's a topical news show, with a mix of the serious and silly. I find it embarrasing that because LW is slanted towards women it has to be so low brow.
