I agree that this was a bit 'so what?' TV. The only interesting conclusion seemed to be that, while we think we are moulding the DCs' lives, in fact they are moulding our lives.

However, it was nice to see a documentary that didn't feel obliged to present RL as car-crash-TV. Apparently there are normal people out there living normal lives. Who knew?

I thought both families were very pleasant, it wasn't a demanding hour of tv for sure, certainly not "cutting edge" but all in all there are worse things in life.

I have dts, wish I had two more boys as I'm not a girly-girl, yet ex wished for a girl. Anyway, the boys' mum did end up with one of them showing an interest in horse-riding.

I love having boys as the thought of going anywhere near the pink aisles of toy stores is horrendous. I preferred tree climbing, playing with cars and such like when I was little and yet if the psycho-babblists would have you believe that would indicate I was gay, when I'm not. So really it is all rubbish this stereotyping.

Was a bit surprised to realise I vaguely know one of the families so I stayed with it, but agree it was a 'gentle' watch.

I thought it was quite unusual that all four girls were into ballet. Sweet though and, expensive!!
