I will. That was so sad and heartwarming at the same time.

HMB - I was just about to post something similar.

That poor, poor little boy. It was absolutely heartbreaking. So cruel

spykid · 22/08/2005 22:03

Nemo1977 · 22/08/2005 22:05

i missed the end due to phone call did they decide if a operation would be able to help keep him walking?

spykid · 22/08/2005 22:07

He had his legs pinned and was just in recovery with a walking frame

Blossomhill · 22/08/2005 22:09

His poor feet. Poor kid must have be in agony constantly

Apparently it's a smililar condition to the one the elephant man had.

Did anyone notice that Channel 5 had programmed something about SuperModels at the same time?

I just thought the juxtaposing of the 2 programmes was quite ironic.

LilacLotus · 23/08/2005 11:09

he was so lovely

hoppybird · 23/08/2005 11:39

I noticed the juxtaposition of the supermodels programme, too, Easy.

It was not at all surprising that the boy's mother, amongst her obvious other concerns, was particularly worried that the condition would spread to his head and face. He is and extremely good-looking boy, and I don't know about anyone else, but I found that his engaging personality and his looks genuinely shone out beyond his condition.

As others have said, what a sad, yet heartwarming programme.

Wow! He was so mature for his age. Hard to believe he was only 9. What a handsome young man, too!
