Hi, I wondered if any one could help with this:
My 16 year old daughter will be turning 17 in May and wants to celebrate her birthday. She has one close friend, but also lots of other friends who aren't so close (she wonuldn't meet most of them out of school). She does not want a 'typical teenage' party (involving alcohol)as this just doesn't interest her, but doesn't want a 'four year olds party' (tea and party games). Any ideas would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance

Dinner party.

You could get one of those murder mystery games and do that plus dinner party.

Or pay for her and close friend to go to the theatre/out for dinner/both.

My DD is 17 in June and most of her friends haven't really bothered with parties this year, I think they are all planning to do something for their 18ths instead. The most anyone has done is a group of them have gone to a restaurant (Chinese all you can eat buffet for £10).

All my girls have just arranged things for themselves once they've past 16. For their 17th Birthdays they just went out for a meal with thier friends which they booked themselves. Well we did give them a little help.
