Garden office and football....

We're just getting garden office put in and tween very put out as usually plays football in garden (not always very accurately with shots flying off so worried about smashed windows etc). Do any of you use a net or similar and have found it works for protecting an office or do i just need to tell him to wait for the park? Or is there another football contraption that i don't know about?!

We have a garden office but don’t stop the kids playing football in the garden. That would be a bit mean and my kids would be more likely to go back inside and back on screens then walk all the way to the park unless meeting friends.

If he has a goal, position it in the opposite direction or buy softer balls.

I would prioritise finding a solution to keep him outside and active. Is there a way to position the windows away from the football area? Or a fence maybe?

Our garden is not that big unfortunately! The front of the office will be half a metre from where he plays, no other space in garden

Buy rigid wire mesh sheets and screw them over the windows on the outside, until the football years have passed? There may also be some solution where you can attach two rails with a lip and slide a panel of mesh in between them so you could still slide it out if the way to escape in case of fire.
