I haven’t had, though know some that have. Borderline cases like that are best. Marks can go up or down though.

All exam boards offer free access to exam scripts, so ask the school/college to get a copy. Then compare it with the mark scheme to see if there were any marking errors. That can help you to decide if it’s worth getting a remark.

The first error the board checks for is whether the total number of marks have been added correctly etc. Assuming it has, then it is remarked.

Good luck!

You've nothing to lose except some money.
Will college / tutor advise?
Get papers reviewed separately, ie get the one most likely to go up first, you don't want to gain marks on one and lose on the other.

Note it is a review not a remark. So for English generally speaking unless the mark band is incorrect, just because one marker would give 10 whereas the other has given 8, the marks still won't change.

So infact you are maybe more likely to get bigger swings of marks than compared with maths where there is no discretion in the mark scheme, it has either been applied correctly or it hasn't.

(Are you aware of the Further Education board? You may get more help there.)
